you can hang a new batch of clothes out to dry even though there are already clothes being hung out at the balcony that are not dry?

Well I didn’t. It didn’t occur to me that I could have hung the wet clothes at the same balcony, along with the other un-dry clothes. They took up all the known space on the poles and so I decided that there was no space to hang the then-newly washed clothes. And so I left them in the washing machine for the rest of the evening! Eventually (after about five hours), I realised that hey! I can squeeze these clothes a little, and use the other unused poles! I did, and also discovered that the not-so-newly-washed clothes already smell like smelly shoes. I hope that the sun will be really bright tomorrow and shine the smell away. But of course, if you hang out with me and notice some smell that’s like smelly shoes and yet not quite, you’ll know what it’s about.

And love me anyway! Cos at least I’m honest right, and the lesson to learn is to think beyond the lousy excuse you give yourself for not doing something and explore alternative ways to get that something done instead of not doing anything.
